It would be Ok if they could just make a round tire. I bet I pull off 20 a week because they are out of round.

Different compounds are produced for different tracks and conditions. Sometimes they send the teams inappropriate tires.

Had a 2012 impala come in today with RSA's and a vibbration. Front 2 were over 5 ounces out of balance, rear were out of round. Take it for what its worth.

All I can say about Bridgestones are that the set my dad had on his truck threw rocks like non other. He hated them. I used to have Auroras on my 78 wagon I think. I don't really remember how they handled to be honest. It was a hassle to keep that car on the road and running the way it was. lol. When I first got my current car (Grand Prix) in Aug 2010 it came with Goodyear Eagle LS tires on it. They were alright for the maybe 20,000miles I had them before I burned them down to nothing from burnouts and stuff. (I was a stupid teenager). My next set was Goodyear Eagle GTs and then my tranny pooped so I never did any burnouts on the GTs after the rebuild and I got maybe 16,000 on them. I liked how they looked on the rim (wider than the LSs) and they handled on dry pavement like a boss I thought. Winter came and they seemed like they never got good traction with snow. I then picked up a set of Bullitt rims and put Khumos on them. So far have no complaints. Then snow hit so I got a set of Goodyear Assurance Comfortred or something like that that I am running now and I absolutly love them for winter. They seem too handle great in the snow. I was able to do just under 65 on the hwy and had to slow down to 45 because everyone else was only going that fast but when I was going 65 I wasn't slipping or anything. By far the best tires I have ever had. Both my dads Monte SS and my moms Intregue have them too and they work great.

My summer tires are Dunlop. 2 years and they still look brand new... although that's also probably only like 5,000 miles
