My Pirelli tires have about 8,000 miles on them now and still look brand new. My tire wear indicator shows literally no difference in tread depth since they were installed. Handling is excellent, road noise is minimal and they are warrantied for either 65,000 or 85,000 miles depending on rating. Prices are very competitive also.

Don't get Eagle GTs - had them on my 05 SS and didn't last 3 years/30k miles. I replaced them with Falken Ziex ZE-512 and they were great - even in the snow.

I thought the Goodyear Eagle RSA's were some of the crappiest tires ever, as most do. I personally like Goodyears, and have tried several kinds. Our '07 Solstice GXP came with Goodyear F1 GS-2 tires, and they were a great summer performance tire. I put a set on the Intimidator SS, but split a rim and broke a tire also. So I bought a used tire off Ebay and put the set on the solstice now.

Winter tires my favorite is the Goodyear Ultra Grip tires. Cop car tires. But don't expect to get 60K miles on them.

Currently I am running Goodyear Assurance tires, and they're OK for an all season tire. I bought them as take off's for $260 on craigslist.

I drive 15-20 cars a day as well as my own. By far the best all-season tires I have seen are Pirellis. I have P4 four seasons on my Monte.

That's what was on my Monte when I bought it. If I didn't literally come off the line at an idle they would break loose on wet roadways. Cornering gave you an uneasy feeling (like the car was ready to break loose) and road noise was terrible! I played around with inflation pressure to try and find a happy medium but the only time the car felt like it was 'planted' the pressure was so low I lost a couple of mpg.

That's what I'm running as well. I'm very happy with them as far as an all season tire goes.

P225/60R-16 Goodyear Eagle RS-A:

These were excellent tires that came with my Monte new when I purchased it.

I Initally had 83,000 miles on mine before the mrs ran over a broken spring off a semi...and ended up replaceing them...

Whether some people realize it or not.../ or choose to not maintain them properly.
Rotateing every 3,000 miles is key to high mileage! proper inflation as well as proper balanceing throughout the tires life span!

All 3 of my vehicles get rotated and balanced pressure set @ every 3000 miles along with Oil Changes at 3000 miles!/3 months.

I have for example...TOYO ATs on my Silverado Z-71 4X4...There a 25,000 mile tire That I have well over 60,000 miles on and remember I travel all overthe country pulling my 5th wheel camper with it! So, I definately do High Mileage!/weight towing. Not to mention there also a great winter snow, ice, rain tire with no Humming down the road!

I had them instahled at Belle Tire...Purchased there road hazard warranty. (on all my vehicles) Consequently, I can have them rotated and balanced etc thru the warranty as well as them being "Nitronized"..
Which seems to make a difference with aluminum wheel rim leaks are kept to a minimum.

Something you might want to also consider when purchaseing your next set of tires!
If you expect to get the most out of your tires!

Actually, I just looked at my receipt and my Toyo's only cost $105 each speed balanced and installed.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I'm gonna look around locally and online and then decide which ones to get when the tax return comes in. I still am kind of leaning towards the Eagle GT's but I might look into Pirellis or some other Goodyear tires.

I pull off more Goodyears than ALL others tires combined. There's a reason why GM went to using Michelins and Pirellis.

Also don't the NASCAR drivers have issues with the Goodyears tires too?
