has anybody stiffened up there suspsion ? I find when I drive down somw highways that the car rocks back and forth not front to back but from side to side. Is there a way to stiffen it up so it won't sway side to side like a stiffer sway bar in the back and or front. the front sway bar look like a good size
any help is well apreciated

Haha man tons of people on here have changed out suspension parts I'm sure, use the search feature check out what people have done you could change sway bars, strut bars, swap your control arms, I know when my suspension started failing you know and just renewing parts can make a huge difference

What year is yours, and is it an SS?
I've actually lowered both my 03 and 06 Monte SS's. My 06 is lowered on Bilstein HD Series struts and Canuck Motorsports lowering springs. Stiffened it up quite a bit but it's not obnoxious. Feels good on the road with less torque steer and body roll. Front end seems to grab better on hard acceleration because of less weight transfer. I did a thread when I lowered my 06. Should have some good information there so take a look through that.

The SS's come with beefier sway bars to begin with; the same ones Chevrolet uses on the police package. So, if yours isn't an SS you could upgrade to the stock sway bars used on the SS. There's also beefier aftermarket rear control arms available.

Good question. The SS is a WAY better suspension. All the way around. Don't take this wrong "non SS owners", but I wouldn't own a non SS 5th gen. And on make it better, I added the STB's both front AND back to stiffen it up.
