Suggestions for Lowering set up?
Ok so I'm almost done with rebuilding my monte, three things left to do 1. Figure out where that clunk is coming from (posted as thread regarding this matter) 2. Instal new shocks with lowering springs and finally 3. Instal my OEM high sport lip kit since no one ever was really interested in buying.
I need some help on figuring out which are the best springs and shocks/struts should I use, I want the car lower than stock height, just enough to eliminate the Giant factory wheel gap. Any ideas? I have still a half decent spending limit on my car but original struts are almost a $1000 in total lol so I might as well do as I intend and maybe save a buck or two.
STRUTS/SPRINGS & Air conditioning are my weak spots so any help is greatly appreciated!
Ps. I don't mind using a used lowering set up given the right price and condition if any one is selling.

Well, for springs I will say Canuck Motorsports - can't go wrong with them. I have their's on my 06 and they've been great thus far. I'd recommend Bilstein for struts but they're pricey and they aren't available for these cars anymore but there IS the KYB AGX which I had on my 03, which was also lowered, and was happy with. A couple other guys on here just recently installed the AGXs with the Canucks and first impressions sounded like it's a decent setup - hope they chime in here. Any more questions, feel free to ask.
This is the Bilstein/Canuck setup I'm currently running on my 06.
And the KYB AGX/Eibach setup I had on my 03.
