I used a STB from a cutty convert and used that GMPP bar... orginally had the GMPP bar then went with the cutty (wasnt as solid but very close) and now run them both! much much tighter... STB's get rid of the whoble when making sharp steering inputs.

ORIGINAL: Bigg J

There is also this one (which I plan to purchase very shortly!!):

GMpartsdirect.com sway bar kit for '00-'05 Monte Carlos.
It wasn't until I saw the pick this time that I saw the tower brace. I always thought this was just a sway bar kit, but at the bottom is the tower brace.

Yeah, it's not a bad setup for the price, huh?

for the rear, you just have to enlarge one of the holes on the STB and it will bolt up using one of the strut bolts. Here is mine.

I just noticed that you also have the LS/SP. Very attractive package.

I just purchased both front and rear strut tower braces from ZZPerformance. The front is 1/4" short. I'm probably going to elongate the holes and use it.
The rear will fit, but only over the nuts, but not with the nuts removed. There isn't enough threads to double nut them. It might fit if I put a thick washer under it. I have some hard washers at work. I might try that. Problem is there is a lip on the strut tower that interferes with the brace. Second problem is the brace intereferes with my 12" subwoofer box. I think GMPP's will go over it, ZZP's won't. [&o].
I like these braces. They are heavy duty. They both use 4 bolts. I think I will try to make them work, even if I have to notch the speaker box.

I just finished installing the ZZP strut tower braces. They are HEAVY DUTY! 3/16" 4130 chrome moly steel. The front was 1/4" short, so I had to elongate the mount holes 1/8" each with a 1/2" end mill. Added 1 washer under opposite corners to level it out, then it bolted right on. The rear I put 2 washers under each corner to lift it over the lip on the strut tower. I'm wondering if the Grand Prix doesn't have this lip. No real problem, tho.
Only problem now is the rear brace hangs low enough that it interferes with the sub speaker box, as it was a tight fit before. Very happy with the install.
Here is the link for the struts, and they are REAL affordable a under $130 for the pair:

All the pic's show lots of my mods, if you know what to look for.

Not yet, but it does seem stiffer. I don't drive hard, but I like firm. These are the most beefy available. PERIOD!
What I notice the most is the extra vibration from the poly motor mounts. Not happy with that.
