Default Strut Spacers

Hello Knowledgeable Guys and Gals of MCF,
I am looking for someone who knows what web site I can go to, to find rear Strut Spacers. I'm going from the 245/30r22s that were on the car when I bought it, to a more DAILY DRIVER FRIENDLY 245/45r18. I am also replacing the struts. Getting complete Struts. All new Everything.
Now I am an Old School car guy. My first car was a 71 Impala Coupe. Cherry Red w/Black top and Bench Seats. The first car I worked on was a 69 Camaro SS.
I want to put a 2" lift on the rear of my 02 MC SS. I feel that when the car tilts a little to the front, it looks like it is moving forward even when it's standing still.
I'm looking for a member who knows were to get the spacers that go between the struts and the body. I've seen them on StreetBeats.com but I think $230 is a bit much. Are there any other sights I should be at. Please help. I need to add my bit of Old School Flare to my New ShoowelMobile!

Trewyn15,
Thanks for the quick reply. I want the metal spacers cause they are Perminent. They don't flex under load and they don't slip. They are bolted between the top of the strut and the body of the car. I was just hoping to find them for less than $230. But if I have no other choice I'll pay that.

JC post a link to these badboys. I also like when the monte's sit a tad higher in the rear. Seems like they all sag over time.

They do sag. So instead of just replacing the strut cartrages, I'll replaces the whole strut assembly. I did this on my wifes Lexus and it looks very sporty for a 4dr with no wing on the back. I have to replace all 4 struts on my Monte. Bringing it back to original ride hight. The spaces will give it that slightly lifted and forward motion look. It will also shift the center of gavity a little tward the frunt. More weight on the frunt tires, but not much more, for a little better control on turns.

I also like when these cars sit up in the back. It gives them alittle cleaner look. Post a link to these spacers. I couldnt find them using google search. Id probably spend the $230 and get the good ones too.

Wicked: go to
www.StreetBeatsCustoms.com
It's called Ready Lifts Suspension Leveling kit. The $229.99 is for a set of 4. 2fronts, 2rears. So I would call and ask if you can get just the rears. I haven't call because I have other issues I have to take care of with the car before I replace my struts.
And if you are looking for new Strut assemblies go to
CompleteStruts.com
I got the rears for my ladies Lexus as a Pare and I am very saticefied with the new ones.
Pare of Frunt strut assemblies for the Monte. $167.00 Rears $146.00
Good luck! B-)

I seen the rubber one for 5 dollars a piece at advanced auto .. I was gonna do the same . I just did rear strut and I'm wishing I replaced spring to just food for thought though .. Hope this helps you .. I changed rear cause with two people in back seat I would touch my tires and it put small slice around the edge of my brand new tires.. Haven't really scrapped any since I changed the rear struts but I'm just so afraid to put my kids in the back.. I'm gonna grab the rubber ones just for extra support and maybe ll be replacing the springs in spring lol

Everything I found is for trucks. Those spacers/extenders will all fit on our MC's?

When you go to the site, put in you're yr/ make/model and the right set comes up. They were originally intended for trucks. But they will work on any vehicle. I wouldn't order them without speaking to one of their sales guys anyways. Just to make sure I'm getting the right part. That's the way I order any parts online.
I ordered a set of Smoked LED Tail lights for my BMW a couple of yrs back. Even though the part number I ordered was for my yr/make/model, the tail lights I got were for a 325i 4dr, not my 325is 2dr. Ever since then I find what I want on the web site then call, with the site still up to ensure I get the right part, at the advertised price.
So give them a call for your own peace of mind! B-)
