Thanks. I replaced ALL hardware, so everything is new.

How do you like the ride so far?
Thanks Matt. It was sort of a pain to do, but there were no "issues" and I saved several hundred dollars in labor, which is always a good thing.

I have mixed thoughts about the ride. The car handles noticeably better and corners much tighter. The ride itself is not optimum in my opinion. Too quick of a rebound for a big car. I don't like the way the front end reacts when going over quick dips. I don't know if it's an issue with my strut choice or simply that a lowered car bounces quicker than non-lowered?

Those who have lowered, how does your car handle quick dips in roads/parking lots?

Nice mod to have done and out of the way. You will get used to the ride. I have long forgotten how my ride normally was. Just take it for what it is and run it till you break something...... LOL, I always break something it seems. Runs great for 1 month, broke down for 1.

looks great. I would love to do this to mine at some point but I am concerned about the ride quality though

Yeah you'll definitely feel the road more but you'll get used to the ride. Maybe I'm just used to a lowered car because my 03 was lowered for four years and that was my daily driver, but so far I'm happy with the 06 lowered. The Bilsteins don't seem to be too harsh and also don't seem to pogo like I've heard others mention.

Yeah, I guess I need to get used to it. The only other car I lowered was my 92 Camaro, but that was a Camaro, so it rode as such...

"Pogo" is a very good word to describe the ride over certain dips...Not liking it, but it's not unacceptable by any means. I chose a "soft ride" strut in hopes of avoiding the pogo, but perhaps I should have chosen a "handling" strut?

What I really do like is the new stance this car has. I was able to use my 1" billet spacers on the rear wheels to bring them out a bit to further enhance the stance...

I thought it looked like you were running spacers on there. No rubbing?

No more than when it was at stock height. Only over the deepest dips at speed does it rub slightly. That's with 255/45/18 tires.
