I honestly didn't think there was a difference, and I am still skeptical, because this is what I found.
Straight from the Manufacturers specs.
Rear LS:61.4 SS:61.4
Ground Clearance (in) LS:5.9 SS:5.9
Hope that helps, wouldnt want you to waste money on some SS springs only to find out they are the same.
Good looking out. I may just go w/Eibach springs which lower an inch in the back and 1.3" up front. Eibach is one of the best aftermarket spring makers in the world and they'll surely retain the most ride quality of any other aftermarket offering. I just hope it doesn't throw my camber off enough to necessitate a camber kit.

I dont think it would. It shouldnt effect anything at all if I really think about it. But if you go lower and also want to change out the tires and rims, you might want to be carefull with how low you actually go. I have problems with scraping already and thats just from 18s and low-pro tires. I would hate to see what happens if i were to lower it.

I have 16's currently, the Impala SS rims[8D]

I guess I should find the wheel calculator and plug in some numbers and see what, if any, the difference will be w/the 18's and 45 series rubber.

Nope, none other than the rims and low pro tires, which deffinitely lowered it a little bit

What size rims/tires did you have before and what do you have now?
