Springs on FE4 suspension.

Here's a LINK: https://montecarloforum.com/forum/ti...pension-20053/ Maybe it will help..
That said, the FE4's struts are tuned differently for a firmer ride, better handling and control over the FE2 package. However, from the looks of it, the springs themselves are the same between the FE2 and FE4. There is only one version of spring listed on all the OEM GM parts websites.

The FE3 is the Impala SS suspension package and the FE4 is the Monte Carlo SS suspension package. They're the same architecture and boast beefier components for the Super Sport package over the base suspension packages for both cars. Stepping down, the FE1 is the base Impala suspension package and FE2 is the base Monte Carlo suspension package.

Looking to replace my struts. I want to keep original ride height (measured from center of wheel, Front 16.25", Rear 17.25") I'm looking at buying AC Delco struts.
Question: Car has just hit 100,000 miles. so I will also replace the strut mounts. Should I buy them without bearings and buy the bearings separate for $20. a piece?
