in the rear you can run a 275/60/15 on a 15x8 with 3.5-3.75 backspacing. no rubbing or mods. 3.75 fits the nicest and i wouldnt run a 70series in the front unless it was on a 14 inch rim. i like 195/70/14 in front or 205/60/15. thats the set up ive always run front and rear.

nothing is sticking out of the well and you wind up with about a 1/4 in from the inside. that with a 15x8 with 3.75,3.50 backspacing both work just 3.75 is tough to find in a good quality rim. you could run 4 inch but i think with a cheater with low pressure it might rub inside. ive run a 275 on a 8.5 but it rubbed on the wheel well on heavy bumps with the 3.5. i know the pic there is tiny so ill see what i can do to post some pics.

this is the car with the old set up. i was running 14x6 with 195/70/14s in the front, and 15x8 with 275/60/15 with 3.75 backspacing. i dont have a rear shot and the car is up close to my shed right now since i picked up the 06, but like i said they dont rub or stick out. im running welds now with 15x6 in the front with 205/60/15s and 15x8 275/60/15 on the rear with 3.50 backspacing. still no rubbing and they dont stick out. i personally like the 3.75 better gives it more of that tucked in look.

the rear just has some monroe shocks that suck and i bought them 8yrs ago when i didnt know any better. and the rear springs are just v8 springs with a set of lakewood traction action bars. its got a 7.5 out of an ss with a 9* auburn carrier and moser axles. once a put a set of slicks on it and dynamite it im switching to a dana 60 slightly narrowed and hopefully some mini tubs so i can run a set of 315s. its a street race car so nothing exotic.
