Default Rim Width
whats the widest rim i could go with on my 03 monte carlo?? im looking at a set of 20's but they are 8 1/2 in width

will this be a problem?

Have you check on tirerack.com if you type in the type of your car they will generally come up with all the rim sizes that will fit you car based on stock specs.

tirerack shows that an 8.5 would fit.
