Ok everyone what do you think is the best looking rim size on your monte carlo? Im thinking of going with 18s or 17s but no bigger than 18.

 

I have 18's on my Monte and I like them. That's probably as big as I would go on this car. But to me it depends on the car. If it were something like a Benz or something along those lines, I think 20's would look pretty good. I personally like anything in that 16-20" range and after that rims start getting to big for my personal tastes

 

i agree with 18's, i have 17's because i really liked the rim and it was only offered in 17" and they still look very good

 

I have 18s with 245-45-18 tires.

 

20s, and lowered. Gives it the "Decent size" rim look & the lower makes it look sportier. And 20s aren't big, tbh, my old 20s look smaller than my 07 stock 18 ss wheels, which is why i drive with those. The stock 18s just feel a bit better, not much of a difference though in the 2 extra inch's.

I recently put 18's on and am waiting on my lowering springs to get here for a better fit look.

 

My car had 22s on it when I bought it. No OEM 16s with it. They hit Hard on ants. I replaced them with 245/45r18s and have been Happy ever since. (Pics in my Garage) I have seen Up to 20s But at that Point you are increasing your Tire Diameter. You can actually go up to 19s and Keep your original tire height.

Same here. Best combination in my opinion.

 

I think it depends on the gen monte too. I've only put 20s on my 7th, if I had a 6th or well when I had one I had 17s that looked nice..ima post comparison pics of my rims lol
