Default Rim Question

First off, let me start by saying that I dont much about rims at all other than that I want some on my Monte, lol. I have a 2000 Monte Carlo w factory wheels and tires. A friend of mine has a 1997 Lumina with 20" rims on it. They 20 x 7.5 inch Panther Trifecta fwd rims with univeral lug pattern and 255-35-20 tires. Will these fit? I figured that if they fit on his 97 Lumina that they would fit my 00 Monte since they're both Chevy's but like I said, I dont know much about rims. Any help would be appreciated.

First off I would like to say that a universal fit is never that great of an idea, and 20x7.5 sounds funny. Seems really skinny :P

Go to a website like tirerack.com and put in your car and wanted size and see what comes up.

Like I did that just now, and came up with this 20" that will fit perfectly. They will also show you what tire size you would need, and anything else additional.

Yes and no... Mustangs use 5x114.3, while ours are 5x115. Not exact, but the wheels do fit each pattern, I would know since I use 5x114.3.

Chargers, Challengers, and 300C's also use 5x115 which opens even more options too.
