removing lock lug bolt

Default removing lock lug nut

ive recently misplaced my lock key and now i need to remove the wheels. what is the easiest way to remove my wheel locks?

Your best bet is to go to a tire shop and have them look at the car. Other then that, i have no idea.

well that sounds good but its hard to get a sledge hammer on the lug nut

+1 with Popcorn, I am almost certain that the NTB's or Discount Tire shops out there have masters to just about any lug nut lock. They should also be able to point you in the right direction to get a replacement key.

most keys are available at like oreillys or autozone you could probably pick up another set for like $20, i actually got my current nuts at wal-mart

you can hammer a socket on to the lock thats a size smaller. it destroys the socket but it does work. thats the only way ive gotten them off when thats happened.

thanks i got them off by hammering a smaller socket on them
