Default Rear Wheel Camber

Hi Everyone, I have a 2007 Monte with 61,000 miles and I took it in for tire rotate and balance and noticed some inside tire wear on the rears so I went to get it aligined and was told there were no camber adjustments for the rear. After I looked it over real good I noticed that the camber was off real bad. both rear tires were pointing in at the top. I took it to the dealer to see what was wrong and was told the springs had just settled but were not bad. The guy at Chevy said he could fix it so I let him give it a shot. I was told they took off the strut housing where it connects at the bottom and he cut slots in it to adjust the camber. I went and picked up the car this morning and it appered to sit a bit higher in the rear and the wheels were straight. When I drove it home it was like driving it home the day I bought it New..... What a big diff. Wondering if anyone else has the problem I had and how did you fix yours? Thanks
