Hey guys first off happy Father's Day to all.
I have a 86 Monte Carlo ss recently I dropped a new 350 chevy small block turn key motor and a set of hooker headers ran two true dual flowmaster 44 exhaust. Had the car painted with a clean coat of the original burgundy color red did the stripes. And installed a new radio. Now today I finally made it around to put my new american racing 23 wheels on the car. The wheels I bought were the same size as the stock wheels 15x7 and they went on the tires that I had on their that are 215/65/15. I like them but I was wondering if I was able run a wider tire in the rear on 15x7 wheels

You could safely put 235/60/15 tires on the rear...they are about an inch wider than a 215/65/15, but about the same diameter (26").

 

That's the key thing I am looking for "safely" thsnk u.
