Plus One and Tires
Hello, I'm new to the forum and didn't do a thorough search on this topic so forgive me if I'm repeating the question! I have a stock 02' LS 225-60/16 tires. I'm looking to go to 17s. I'm gonna do tire and wheels probably in a week or so and Im having trouble deciding on good tires so I could use some opnions. Also, Im running into a problem trying to find a reliable calculation for plus sizing, I keep getting conflicting results. Can anyone tell me or recommend the right size? Thanks in advance for the help!

Yup, that's what I thought too. Any opinion on a decent All Season or High Performance that won't kill me in cost?

Your best bet is to honestly keep the 16s for winter, and get a dedicated winter tire if you do winter driving.
And then just buy whatever "high-performance" summer tire you want that has decent traction and treadware

I just bought Cooper Zeon RS3-A all season/performance tires from treadepot for 98 bucks a piece. They are as good if not better than the Pirelli Pzero neros I had for alot cheaper.

Hmmm, well since winter is coming (calling for 1-4" on Sat... Ugh... already) I like Chibi's idea of winter boots and summer flipflops buuut I dunno if I can store 2 sets of wheels (bf has winter/summer too) I have a tight storage issue but I think I may entertain the idea, I'll just have to get rid of the dog and kid LOL! I like the HP/All Season idea but if I buy new wheels I dont wanna ruin them with the winter salt and potential potholes. PA is EXCELLENT for fixing potholes late in the Spring which I'm sure Chibi can attest to! Well, I have a week to decide and I guess I'll have to choose between $400 or $1000 or more. I really just wanna get an idea on what the overall opinion on tires is. I travel 300-400mi per week in my car so Im looking for practical and looks if that's even possible! Thanks guys!

I actually know people who are tight on storage space who take a piece of glass and stack their rims and make an impromptu end table.
