Well I got the chrome wheels in this week. They weren't exactly what I was looking for. They are like the stock chrome wheels that I have seen that have the textured surface in the middle of each spoke on the wheel. I was hoping for a completely smooth surface all over the wheel with the chrome finish. Anyway, I think I am keeping the chrome version anyway, just because they are a lot shinier and should be easier to keep looking clean. So here are a few pictures of the actual wheels side by side and close up, make your own conclusions, sorry not on the car yet, my wife thought she needed to go on a little trip today and wouldn't take the tahoe, so probably next weekend for the actual "on the car pics".

Well, I like them in chrome. The aluminum polished ones would have been a very big pain in the butt to keep them looking good. I really don't have much maintenance with my chrome rims. I'm not sure if mine are the original wheels because I bought the car used, but if they are the originals, after 4 years of winter salt, they still look great. So I think you made the right choice.

I've always really liked those chrome rims too. I've considered getting a set as an alternative wheel to the Dale Jr wheels I have on mine.

Definitely go with the chrome rims!
