The F-Body upgrade is what other members posted doing (but it's just for slight weight savings, and to get our 00-05 Monte to a dual-piston). You are already at dual-piston calipers so it wouldn't be as big of an upgrade for you.

GXP parts would probably be easier to source, and easier to replace, since they were stock and not just a package developed by an aftermarket company. I would most likely go that route haha
As long as it will be better than stock than I am comfortable going with the GXP brakes. I can't go with the stock rotor size anymore, I do need bigger. I need something better with the bigger wheels.

What would you even consider pairing up with the Brembo set for the rear if you were going to do that option? Thanks again. I need to do this soon so the help is much appreciated.

I truthfully don't know what I would pair for the rear.

I guess the 12" set up and wouldn't look as weird through the rim as the small set.

Link>ZZPerformance - 12" Rear Brake Upgrade kit #ZZ-12BRK-REAR

But, it says it's for 98-03 w-body only, and I don't know where the LS4 fits in that description... lol

Yea I saw this. I believe I would need the Brakes off a 2005- 2008 Grand Prix GXP for the rear. I don't think these would work. Not much information online other than 1 on LS1Tech but there is conflicting information there and not 100%.

If I remember correctly the gxp brakes can be used with the stock set up, otherwise find gxp caliper/rotor and bracket drill out the hole a bit and boom. Use solid or vented brakes, the drilled and slotted break easily from what I hear. Have you swapped to solid steel lines?

I made the mistake of buying Napa roters and autozone brakes, the golds, now I have a irritating squeek . I'm gonna swap to vented though, I might use the gxp calipers, it's a lot of gxps here and my buddies is crashed, so I'm gonna be trying to steal his

Rock auto just had a clearance sale on brakes, idk if those were on there but I'm gonna do a gxp upgrade soon. It's so many gxps by me it's crazy . If I can find extras I might start selling some lol
