Default New tires are on!

New tires for the Monte SS! Just had Sears install and do an alignment. Seems to ride much better. Went with Uniroyal Tigerpaw, same size as the original Eagles but less than half the price.

Hi Wht02monte, drove back and forth yesterday in the pouring rain and all went well, while researching tires I found out the Uniroyals are made by Michelin, just their lower cost line. They are all weather tires and I will be driving this winter so hopefully they will have good traction in the snow, or as good as can be expected from an all season tire.
They are also a very low cost for this size, with 4 tires, mounting and balancing, and 4 wheel alignment it was less than $600. Here's a link to the Sears ad... Sears.com

I have to grab a pair of tires also. Got to much negative camber on passenger rear and has chewed inside edge down to poly belts (past steel).

gonna fix camber this weekend before grabbing a pair.

look good.
