Default New rims and tires

My 2007 SS has 235 x 60 tires on 18 x 7 rims. Rims are factory and have a 5 x 115 Bolt Circle with a 52mm offset. Can anyone assist me and tell me how much wider a rim I can use and with whatsize tire is best for that wider rim. I would like to stay with 60 series tires but would like a larger footprint. I want todo all this without spacers and leaving enough clearance to turn in the front and fit inside the rear fender well as wellwithoutrubbing.

Default RE: New rims and tires

Any help would be appreciated. Dart will have my new block complete at the beginning of next month. I am currently working with a machine shop on transmission parts. I suspect engine build to start in March. Having my dash re-fiberglassed to accept 9 new gauges.4 in the cluster and five in the pad. Researching tires and rims now. Would like to go to larger rims, not much - maybe from the 7" I have to an 8" but I like the stock look but don't know if I can do it. We will see. Thank you.
