Default Maximum wheel width on 6th gen

Hey I was wondering if anybody knows what the widest wheel width I could go on an 18 is for a 03 Monte SS (6th gen). Any ideas on offset combinations would nice to have too, such as maximum and minimum offsets that I could possible use. Looking for a new set of wheels and I need some more education on offsets and such. Any help is great thanks

As wide as you want....

All kidding aside, I think there is a Sticky on this subject...You can also custom tailor almost any 18" wheel to your car using billet adapters/spacers.

I know what the standard pretty well is. Right now I'm running 18x8 Helo H845 withOffset: +42mm Backspacing: 6.10" and they fit nice. I guess I'm looking for min and max offset's as well. I know there is a way to measure for this but don't remember how and the google searching isint helping lol.

Get out there with a straight edge and a ruler/tape measure and start taking measurements. The tire width will affect your clearance as well. You already know what you have on there, so go from there...FYI, I had 18x9" Torq Thrust M with 255/45/18 on the Monte and they fit fine. Good luck
