LS4 Monte Owners PLEASE
In my previous thread I was discussing how much my Dad hated that his Goodyear Eagle GTs only lasted 11,000.
He desperately needs a new set of all-season tires that is going to last.
What is everyone running on this Monte?
I'm looking at Pirelli PZero Nero All-Seasons right now

I have owned Kumho MX tires, and just recently replaced some Dunlop 9000 SPs theses are truly the best tire I have ever owned. these were for my 96 Trans Am I had to go back to my old LS1 account they were the best tire I ever had for that car

I got about 25,000 mi of spirited driving out of them if you know what I mean burnout here or there
I have never owned the Pirelli PZero Nero All-Seasons but I have heard of them and the sound like a good tire just never owned them

My Dad is currently at a tire place, I was talking to the owner for a set of Continental ContiPros. The guy said you will get less spirited driving out of it, but the tire being an H rated tired with a decent tread life should be fine for the way my Mom drives.
Also should come with a warranty of 60k miles / 6 years

cool man that warranty at 60k or 6 years sound great for your mom . I just tend to lean toward a higher performance tire sorry that is what I thought you were looking for better than the old 11k tire Eagle GTs with out loosing the performance

For myself I'm gonna look for performance tires, but my parents aren't spirited drivers in any way. They cut back on that for fuel saving and money savings, they just can't help but love Monte Carlo SS's lol

I run Yokohama AVID TRZ's on my stock tires and use them only in the winter months. I'm happy with them. I'd say I have about 8K miles on them (2 winters), and that's a complete guess. But I do like the tire a lot. I believe it's an all-season touring tire.
