Default Lowering Questions

I've been looking at the Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Spring Sets for my '06 LT3 and I know damn near nothing about how the suspension works and whatnot. If I were to go with this kit what do I need to know about installation? Am I going to be able to do this my self? There is a auto shop here on campus that I have access to. Is there anything else I will need? I saw somewhere that these don't include bushing, am I gonna need to get some or can I use whatever is on my car already? That's about all I can think of right now, I'm sure I will have some more questions once these get answered.

well as far as i know you would need a coil compressor to take the old ones out and put the new ones in, then you'd need it aligned, so you might need a shop to do it for the alignment
