lowering help!!

Default lowering help!!

i want to lower my carlo. but im haveing trouble finding what i want. i see springs that do 1.7''/1.5'' but i want 2''/1'' on being i have about 150 pounds of speakers in my trunk. eventually i want to sit it on 18'' and i want a clean level look. the only thing i found other than the springs were -----> Hellwig Products COIL SPRING LOWERING KIT 3" - JCWhitney<-------

only thing is im not too sure about haveing them on daily. if anyone has tried them let me know how it handled. or know where i can get coilovers plz tell me. thank you.

Please post what year/model Monte Carlo that you have ?
How many miles ? What size 18's do you want to put on that won't rub ? etc.

Look 4ward to additional information....

Oh yea duh lol sorry about that. I have a 2001 ss 180xxx miles, I have no intentions to get the 18s ASAP. Just want to drop it on the stocks for now. How good are the camber kits work?

ZZ Performance

I may eventually get it, but have a couple other things I want to do first.

That's what I was about to post, but you have to get it with the AGX struts and not the GR2 so that you can adjust them.

Yep, you need to get the AGX struts. I didn't select any options...I was just pointing him to the kit so he could read about it and see what all it contains.

Well I think I'll go with the spring compressor kit, I haven seen and one use them and give a review so Ill do it my self. But I do like the zz performance coil overs as a plan b. Thanks everyone for the info. And I'll be sure to post how the compressor work out.

So that kit just pushes down the spring, like the spring would normally do going over a bump? I only see that being a huge discomfort.

I nvr cared for the agx struts had em on the camaro & they really didnt do much & i wouldnt use a spring compresser id buy a lowering kit
