Default Lowering '87 LS

My '87 LS has been lowered a little in front, I believe, and I would like to improve the stance a little by lowering it in the back as well. Mostly because I don't like a lot of room between tire and wheel well.
How would I go about doing this? Do I need to replace the springs, or are there "clamps" I can use to compress the springs?

Pardon my greenhorn-ishness.

Thanks in advance.
