My car has 93,000 miles on it and it feels like the struts could use to be replaced. My car has the FE4 suspension. KYB is the only brand I have found that has FE4 struts other than factory struts which are way too expensive. Are there any others that I'm missing? Is this the favorite brand for FE4 struts? Thanks for any ideas.

I am also looking into replacing my stock FE4 Struts. Its weird because the KYB fronts are the same part# for both ss/lt/ls but the ss rears are different. I have already bought a set of excel-g's and as expected the fronts are like twice as beefy as the rears but if the non SS rears are smaller than these than they are wimpy.

 

im running a pair of kyb gr-2 in the rear on my 2000 ss they work great . will
get a pair for the front when funds permit .dont forget to get a mounting kit for
the struts and shocks.
