KYB GR2 Question

The GR2's are a perfect stock replacement. Usually they are cheaper than getting your stock parts (because dealer's overcharge) and they can last longer.

The AGX are the adjustable struts, so they are really for people who have lowered the car but at times don't want it to be so low (like for daily driving) I wouldn't worry about them unless you were dead set on lowering the car.

Does anyone know how to change Macpherson struts yourself? Or is it a job that needs to be taken in? I thought, and I know pretty much nothing about changing a Macpherson strut...but I thought that when you replaced your shocks, you replaced the spring and shock as one assembly with Macpherson struts....is this true?

I was looking at KYB's website, and it seemed to me that your only buying the shock itself when you buy them...

Could someone please explain this to me, I would appreciate it...The suspension is something I never got into, all i've ever done is replace the shocks on the 89 Chevy truck, which is easy as pie....They are just plain old shocks...Thanks!

Default BEST! struts

might be a little late on this post but ill give ya my 2 cents, 1 cent a Mcpherson strut is not a brand name or anything like that, iam assuming you know that tho! Its just how they are assembled,(i had to google that!) If you want the BEST! struts money can buy, go bilstein, i dunno the pricing on them, but i know they crap on other struts. Youll probally drop atleast a grand on them, but your monte/gp will ride like a caddy on roids! pce out hommies, and burn sum rubba!
