Might want to check your downpipe mating surface to the headers. The change in engine angle might have opened up a gap at the top of the connection.

X2 I've heard that would be the place to check first if going to shorter dogbones. I was considering getting a pair but my headers need all the space they can get, don't think the shorter ones would work out for me seeing how I lost some clearance with the Speed Daddy's

Exactly HOW bad are they for the trans and such? I'm considering them so I have a set when I send mine in to get powdercoated. I drive about 5-10 miles a day would probably only need them a week or two at the most? Think it would hurt anything lol.

What benefit would shorter dog bones give you?

Replace your stock dogbones with these 1" shorter replacements. Shorter dogbones will hold the engine forward, which has a few benefits as shown below.
Better oil pickup during drag racing
Removes vibration caused from lowering the car
Better axle alignment for less HP loss through the shafts
Increased weight on the front tires for better launching
Added clearance to sway bar for header and downpipe installs

That's what zzp says anyways.. My only concern is they won't work with my headers...

I'm going to strap the engine forward when I get time to see if they'll even fit. Just went out and looked but I don't think they're gonna work not a lot of room there lol
