help with rims on 2001 Monte Carlo LS

Default help with rims on 2001 Monte Carlo LS

i was looking to buy some rims for my 2001 MOnte Carlo (duh..hints the website)

i was prolly goin to get either 17's or 16's

can someone help me determine the correct backspacing and tiresize needed to perform on a regular bases. what size wheels to? like the 16 x ___... does the ___ matter really?

i was thinkin of getin 17's... so whats the need tire size and back spacing?

Try looking here. It's a calculator that will help you decide which rim/tire combo is "safe."

They also have a tech section that will answer some FAQs about tires and rims.

the 03 ss came with 16's under it belive all of the SS did not real sure for other years.

but that would be a good start. but honestly i would go with a 17 they look nicer on there and also fill the wheel well some more.

i have heard you can get to a 18 with no mods to the car but dont know for sure on that one

i have a white 01 mc ls and i put on 16" core racing chrome super lite's and i think they look great! the differance from 16 to 17 visually arent that differant but the price is.

Yuo can go with 22's with no mods.

also try wheelsnext.com i got my 18's for the 01ss and had no problems with them
