Default Help with Rim selection

Hi, *first post* I just bought a 2000 SS and am wanting a rim upgrade. I found these on eBay and I really like them. I've done research on here already, and the offset (+48)and width(7.5") look like they will work. My question is: since he doesn't list Monte's, Grand Prix's, etc in the application chart, will these fit. Is 5x114.3 close enough to 5x115 to work? I just dont want to buy them and find out they wont work. Thanks for any help.

From what others have posted on the forum, 5x114.7 is the smallest bolt pattern that will work on our cars. Chances are if the MC, Impala, Grand Prixs are not listed they won't work. And the seller will absolve himself of having to take them back/refund your money since he/she would be able to say your car was not listed in the "applicable vehicles" list that was provided. You'd be better off looking for a wheel of a similar style that is a the correctbolt pattern.
You might want to check out http://www.performanceplustire.com or www.tirerack.com. With either site you can specify your car & it will list all the wheels that will fit your specific car.
Good luck with your hunt.
Cheers,
Glenn

yah you'll definetely going to have to call and ask, rims are a very finicky thing...

i always just call the company and tell them what i have...that way if they dont fit i'm not responsible and can return them with no charge

Yeah, I've been told that they will fit but be snug on the lugs. Personally, I don't mess around with wheels,I only use what is an exact fit. I've seen ricers who use semi-correct fitment and end up damaging their wheels.
