Default Help me find the right lowering kit

Hi all

In the next few months I'm going to drop the Monte, ~1.7" front and 1.5" rear. What I need is the whole kit to do everything at once. All shocks, all springs, and anything else I need to do a thorough job.

BUT

Money is a concern, so I'm after something that's not going to be much more than $1000ish for parts.

I've looked at several popular places and I'd just like some feedback from those of you with experience and recommendations as to which brand I should go with.

Thanks!

What is the difference between the 97-03 GP/00+ Impala and 00+ Monte?
Is it the weight? Just curious. I am looking at getting within the year but if the GP/IMP are stiffer I'll take em.

Looking for lowering kit? It's easy, you just need to search online and there you will find the answer LOL. Of course you can check RockAuto, AutoPartsWarehouse or any other online auto parts store. But if you're a bit tight on money, you can try Ebay. You might find a good deal there. Goodluck!

W body Store has all you need for probably under 1k. Springs, shocks, shortened dogbones, spacers. They have strut tower braces for improved handling for 27 bucks.
