Default Front suspension noise

Noise in front suspension & steering 2006 SS. Clunking noise when accelerating, also when turning left or right. Can be felt in steering wheel. Lower front control arm bushings have been replaced due to one being installed upside down during assembly.Did not eliminate noise. Car has 27000 miles. I purchased it new This problem has just recently started . Anyone have similar problem? Thanks

The steering intermediate shaft needs to be lubricated or replaced.

Thanks for responding. This is the problem. The noise is in the column under the dash. Did not realize this until I could not hear noise out side of car or under the hood. All other possibilities were checked and eliminated. Thanks again.

What in the column would make that kind of noise?
