Tried to get these wheels but I don't think we'll be able to work out a deal.. The post says $500 but he said he won't take any less than $600 for the rims and tires.. Kinda ticked off seeing how I've been in contact so many times and have at least two or three emails confirming $500 + shipping but now he finally got a shipping quote and won't take less than $600 which still isn't a bad deal just really irritating.

The only reason the wheels were listed so low was because I was working with a package deal with the other parts. I was kinda like If some one was to by my other parts i could let the wheels go for 500. I would send you the extra wheels out of my own pocket. if you were to perches.

Thinking he's just trying to get every last dime out of them or just really needs money.

 

it really sounds like he could use the money. tell him you will give him $600 if he throws in the other two wheels that sounds like a great deal to me!

 

Yeah I tried, he's not really budging but I bumped up the offer a little so I might be able to get the spares as well

 

yea all i can think of is giving him $50 per rim for the spares and having him pay part of the shipping.

 

He wouldn't take $800 shipped for the 4 wheels 4 tires and 2 spares so oh well, that's already more than his original craigslist post even with shipping

Yeah I'm sent him one last offer.. I've got other things to worry about besides arguing over wheels all day lol. I realize that I probably won't find another set with tires for $600 but I'm not about to just hand over an extra $100 than he's been asking the ENTIRE time.

 

yea i hear ya. just be like has anyone else even contacted you on them? and if he says no then say well in ur add it says $500 and i have been the only to contact u on them at $500 what makes you think they are worth $600 no..... that might work.

 

Didn't work lol.. guess they're still on his car. He said he won't be able to ship them for two weeks because his car is being worked on and he says he won't have any wheels after he sells these. Lol he acted like I should feel bad and just pay him more or something. I gave up and said $700 shipped let me know when you want me to pay lol.. no response yet.
