I like my 20s, I want 22s, but idk how much the ride changes...I have plenty meat on my tire where it looks like I have 18s though lol and she sits up pretty ;]

IMO, Its not that bad at all. I had 22's ony 01 SS. And I have 24's on my 06 LT and it wasnt thats bad of a ride if you mount them right.

 

What did you have to do for the 22s? I like riding big cause I'm not a racer, more of a cruiser and how far have u driven with your 24s?

 

For 22's i put the twist lifters in (you van get them at auto zone for $15 a pack). And i cut some of the plastic off the inner fender. I live in Detroit so i gotta be carefull riding because theres pot holes every where. But ive drove from detroit to pontiac to auburn hills to downtown detroit. I dont take road trips or anything but i do lile to Cruz.

You onlu had to cut for your 24s right? i dont see any cuts made really for 22s. and hows the acceleration with 22s vs 24s?

 

2's fit no mods. maybe air ride lift kit to be safe.

 

That's what I thought. What lift in the back would I need to ride ppl in the back still?

They make different models for the monte. one for big rim lifts 22+ and one for everyone else 20-. there was a thread that showed a good air ride kit but dont remember it. Ebay sells them for 1k.
