Hiroska, my 3 boys have a house 70 miles south of me and my mom is 50 miles north of me so yes I go out of town on 22s. Red Nightmare is 60 miles east of me and if she can get her mini meet going then I'm going. Good opp to check out other Monte's and see how they "Transform"! Course by then I should have the suspension and brakes done, improving the ride! But on the highway she is smooth as a babies bottum minus the diaper rash. Lol The streets is where the ride is rough. That's what I wanna improve, my 7 mile ride to work! ;-)

Well my spacers stopped the rubbing. But when I hit a bump, it rubs. Lol! Now I ordered a 2" lift so when that comes in, I'll lift my car

Jokers, I'll check EBay for the spacers, I'll keep my 22s if I can get the quarter panels from rubbing on bumps and dips. The new strutswill help with that. And rolling will ensure it. Then I can work on prettying up under the Hood!!!! Lot's of ideas for the engine compartment! 8-)

lol Awsome yo, I dont think ill have to worry about spacers with the 7th gen...from what im seeing I only may need to get a small lift for mine to not rub. I saw a youtube vid of this guy with a newball impala lifting his strut with a jack and then putting them on and no rub

Cool

Idk much about the 7th Gen. The headlights are different and it had an available V8. Wish I could have afforded one myself. But I Love my 6th Gen. Check out my profile! I just put a new air filter in. What a difference. I'm sitting in her now and she's purring like a well fed kitten! Next is to wire the Stereo right. The Mem wire runs thru the dash. The Alarm cuts all dash power. So I have to reset it every morning. Gonna run the men to the battery directly. Did any of you guys w 20s/22s have to remove the wheel well in the front. Mine are still there and I just got new tires. No rubbing!

I still have my wheel wells. No problems there. My lift will be here on Tuesday. So my car will be lifted 2 inches and I will no longer hit my quarter panels when I hit bumps

Cool

I kind of found a place that pre- designs stirs for Big Rims. 22s in my case. They do Extreme wheels. 30s and better. I've got to call on Monday. Wanna go see the work they do and that it satisfies my "Mechanical Mind" before I give them my Baby! If they do it right, extending the bottom of the strut by 2 - 3 inches. Therefore not only moving the strut plate up by that much, but effectively lifting the car as well. That's the way I want it done!
