Default Dodge Charger wheels on Monte Carlo

Im curious if anyone has tried the 20" Dodge wheels on their Monte Carlo's? I think the 20" chrome 5 spoke rims would look real good. They are almost identical to the 20" camaro wheels. I know dodge uses a bigger tire, but if were to get the wheels and use a 245/35/20 I dont see why they wouldnt work since the bolt pattern is 5x115.

The backspacing may be different because the charger is a rear heel drive car.

I just did a quick ebay search and found an outfit selling new charger oem replica wheels, just for instance these wheels are 20x9the +20mm offset and the back spacing is 5.79" is that too much back spacing?

RWD ones will stick out past the fenders which is the 20mm offset ones, AWD ones may work

You aren't being very specific with charger wheels. Are we talking SRT-8, R/T. the earlier gen, like the 08s or the newest ones, like the 13's and up?

On the wheels I was looking at, they stated they "would not work" with AWD models. From reading on here about people wanting want to run 22'' wheels there was issue that the rim would not stick out far enough to keep the tire from hitting the frame. At least with wheels that stick out I wouldnt have to worry about that ha. I would like to be able to turn with little to no rub. I thought all chargers were RWD? I wonder if they made the same 20'' wheel but with a different width or backspacing or offset?

Im not a huge dodge person so I dont know which years had what style of wheels. Im mainly looking at the 20" chrome clad 5 spoke design. They look much like the camaro SS wheels. They are a very simple and clean looking rim. I would run the camaro wheels, but I dont want to mess with wheel spacers on a car.

Correct. I havent done much research yet, but I found a seller on ebay saying his oem charger rim was a 20x8. I would think a 20x8 should fit just fine even is the backspacing is high. Can anyone tell me the offset and backspacing of a factory 06-07 Monte SS rim?

They made AWD Chargers, 300C and Magnum, the 20x8 rims are AWD rims the 20x9 rims are RWD the RWD has a 20mm offset, factory monte has 40mm on an 8" wide rim and the AWD rims have a 47mm offset, so those might work with a spacer, and you dont want a rim to stick out past the fender cuz if you hit a bump ull shove it right into the fender

Heres some AWD rims
