Hey guys, I want to plasti dip my rims (because they need refinishing but I cant afford that right now) but the issue I have run into Is I have too many colors! I want to avoid the standard black rims. I was thinking white which would work but then when you see a side view of the car you would have red, silver, blue and white all in one go, turn on the headlights and you throw purple in the mix. I thought maybe a gunmetal grey with a pearlizer or anthracite but I run in into the color issue still. I thought about blue but I feel that would just flood the car with too much of that color. Red might look nice but I feel like I would have to accent it with blue like the rest of the car. What do you guys think? To avoid a sensory over load from too many colors what should I go with to clean the rims up but not ruin the cars delicate color balance?

Here is a link to my garage btw

You dont think it will look bad? I have silver ground effects and blue pin stripes on the side. I just feel the red rims would not match the color. Im seriously considering white.

lol david it was a joke bro, ahahaha! Okay, are you planning on tinting your windows? If not dude Id say maybe not paint them, but get some wheel vynl a diff color to offset it, and rock it out that way. One thing I hated about plasti dip, is the application of it...Ugh I hate that stuff, unless you got an actual gun with it and garage ;/

White, believe it or not, doesn't stand out that much from the high sport. I agree that it might be too much different colors tho. Otherwise people will start calling your car "Skittles"

Here's mine with a set of white Enkei's:

Black goes with anything... Every other color besides silver will have their critics, but then it's your Monte and perhaps you can tie in an alternate color with other appearance mods. Best of luck what ever you may choose.

Josh that does look good. I like the way it looks and it could be worth a shot. Plasti dip is removable luckily Greg, I saw another red car with red and silver rims and it looked really good. I might try to do a little design between the red and silver or maybe even blue pin striping.

I may just start experimenting and see what i like.
