those aren't the 'Normal SS' rims.. they're for special editions, the normal SS rims are hideous lol

OP, there's a reason you won't see anyone else with rims that look like that

My Winter rims were the stock chrome SS ones and that's what I panted black.

These are my summer Rims

Those are the stock Rims that came on my SS and GM said it's not a
"Special Edition" Just a regular 2005 Monte Carlo SS.. HERE'S a copy
of Email from GM.. Mine is just a regular SS ..That's what they say..

Thank you for contacting the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center. We
appreciate your response to the initial e-mail we sent you in regards to the
production totals of the 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and other special edition
models of Chevrolet Monte Carlo. We also apologize for the late response.

I researched on the information you requested and here is the breakdown per
model:

2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS - 4,856
2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS - 8,794
2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Tony Stewart Edition – 1,020
2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Dale Earnhardt – 2,883
2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Impala Indy Edition – 4,088
2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Intimidator – 4,000
2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Jeff Gordon – 2,424
2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Pace Car – 1,401
2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Dale Earnhardt – 3,333
2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Pace Car – 1,150
2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Texas Pace Car - 50
2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Brick Yard Pace Car - 100
2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Pace Car – 1,300
2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Pace Car – 2,222

For regular 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, just like what you have its 37,143

Edition (your vehicle is not part of this special edition model or any other
special editions, so there is no production sequence available). We cannot also
send you a letter containing the production breakdown of these models aside from
this e-mail.

I hope I was of assistance. If you should need to contact us in the future,
simply reply to this message or call our Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center
at 1-800-222-1020. Customer Relationship Specialists are available Monday
through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Eastern Time.

I don't like painting them either. I plasti dipped them, if I get ready to sell them or get tired of it, plasti dip will peel right off.

Maybe in the picture but there's no way in hell that in person you could mistake it for the covers being off. Especially not now that I've revised it. I used finished the plasti dip on the back 2, and re sprayed the front 2 and sprayed on red bowties
