That price isn't bad but even if I do go with those I'll buy new. I refuse to buy used parts cause I've had some bad experiences with used parts.

 

Ehh pretty hard to get bad calipers, i replaced the seals on mine & good as new

 

yeah you can use stock brake lines all you need to do is bend the brake line bracket to give the line slack. my zzp junk line broked that's why i end up with stock lines and they work great i can't tell the difference. what ever you do don't buy the remanufacture calipers i had bad experience with 2 fbody sets. the calipers bolt hole does not line up. do drill/tap so you can use your stock caliper bolts.

 

here's the size you need for drill/tap and parts you need to get for the swap. the pic is of a fbody. the vette nuts and bolts are same except the piston, caliper brackets and small misc parts i forgot lol. you can use caliper bracket off a Fbody for the vette caliper but have to use brake pads from fbody, other wise you have to grind down on the vette pads to get it fit or vice versa.

Those look really nice. And now I think I might go with fbody calipers and make them say what ever I want them to. What I would like to know is how you powder coated them? Dont you have to take them fully apart to do that? Can you use high temp engine paint instead so I can do it myself?

 

I painted mine with regular base coat clear coat car paint i mixed, any paint will work, high temp would be better though or caliper paint

 

Ok sounds good. Yea I am just going to go fbody and idk what I am goiing to have them say yet. Maybe copy corvette and have them say Monte Carlo on them. Or SS. or I Can Stop. lol
