The rear strut brace can be a PITA but if you have a set of ratcheting wrenches it's cake.

What I do not understand is this statement. P/N 12456148 Strut Tower Brace. An additional strut brace P/N 12456148 can be ordered for rear strut tower, but is a labor intensive installation.

I am assuming it comes with the front strut brace but mentions the rear one but offers no additional part number...

The kit comes with only one strut tower brace. They are assuming you are installing it on the front of the vehicle, so they are offering a second tower brace (the same part) to install on the rear of the vehicle. Some Montes came with the front tower brace from the factory, so you may not need a second brace. You will need brackets though to install it. I got my brackets from Don Rome:

IMO it isn't a labor intensive installation, but you do have to climb into the trunk to install it. It took me about 15 minutes to install one in my '03.

Here's a recent thread on something similar. It will show you the pictures you're looking for (front and rear). Mine came stock w/ a front strut brace - it goes on top of the strut towers.

OK great pictures, you guys are the bomb. My 05 does not have these installed. So I am guessing i should order the kit plus the second brace. See if they will fit and it not then order brackets from DOM. Correct??
