Alright I couldn't remember if they were 8 or 8.5. I like where those sit on yours Matt; they sit out a little further and it gives the perfect mean, aggressive look.

I may just run regular stock, or may swap to 22s, I dont know. I dont race my monte and I barely drive her now, only to work and home and thats a 10 min commute, other wise I'm in my girlfriends car. And yeah, I see both of you guys ( matts) run a nice expensive set up.

Reason I wouldnt go with 20s, unless its a nice set, is because I had some on my prev 7th gen and swapping those to my SS, made them seem so small, I had so much more gap area from the SS compared to the LS I had. Generally I wouldnt go over 20s on a sports car, but she's no longer going to be my main driver and yet my saturday toy. I may just buy a seperate set of struts/shocks and run them that way. Or...May not even run rims at all, I love my stocks ^_^ Maybe ill just lower her, my struts are still new from when the dealer changed them.

 

A lot of the sports cars today are coming with 20 inch wheels -- chargers, challengers come to mind. I could be wrong.

If you are worried about a wheel gap, why not go with 20s and lower the car. 22's are a bit much in my opinion.

 

Honestly i would go with coilovers because you can always control the height of your car, springs would have a set height...so basically coilovers are full suspension with height adjustment, and springs have a set height. and i would not go with 22s thats just too much, 20s are perfect fitment imo. i have 19s and i wish i went with 20s and a 35 series tires.
