idk. if he really wants the factory chrome SS wheel and he doesnt want a knock off and he wanted them new thats what its going to cost. i personally was never crazy about the factory wheels and when i bought the alcoas i was looking on dwt and found the chrome SSs for 600 and didnt go for it. i kinda regret it. they look nice chromed. it would probably be cheaper to have them powder coated chrome.

 

As I mentioned, I did a Chome wheel exchange for my 16" factory wheels. I did mine though www.lawheels.com they had a special run through Ebay. I paid $850 by time all the dust settled for mine. And they are genuine OEM GM wheels.

 

absolutely an option. i couldnt find the ebay place again. just saying you want to make sure you get the same thing back you give them.
