The dimples are the difference in the GTA wheels. The rears have a narrower lip, the fronts are wider. The GNX wheels are 9" wide, so thats pretty easy to tell if you have those or not.

Default Pontiac GTA trans AM (painted black)

I had a Pontiac GTA trans am and them are the EXACT wheels that were on it. They came in a gold color and I painted mine BLACK to look JUST like that... Just my opinion.....MJ

to mj: or anyone, would anyone mind explaining to me the suspension measurements, i was on the thread explaining all the suspension and frame stuff but i did not really get it lol.. most of the work i do is tune ups and alignments and other stuff in the engine bay like driveability problems not much suspension work so im not 100% sure what deal is with playing with larger rims and wheels and originally i wasnt worried because i had read that people were able to run 10" wide rims on stock ls wheel well in the rear but when i visually inspected it early i ws a little worried about the space in between the frame and the hub studs for a 10 inch rim... the most i thought about is that if i needed an inch or 2 i was under the impression that i could put a spacer behind the hub but if anyone would like to explain or link me an appropriae thread thatd be cool... if u need specifics its 15x10 centerlines on stock 86 ls 5.0 thanks

and yeah from what i read the backspacing is different between front and rear but the 10"s are only going on the rear, for the time being, the checkerboards stay on the front
