It should stop better & I believe there lighter than the stock calipers

They are 5lbs lighter I believe, and you are going from a single piston to dual-piston calipers.

are the rears different as well? or is the mod just for the fronts?

The rears are larger, idk if the swap is as direct.

My rears are stock still, I wanna swap them out for GXP rears sometime, camaro rears won't work tried it with the ones off my 94

I read some W-Body guys (I think Grand Prix guys) and not many of them were using Grand Am front brakes on the rears, as they looked bigger and balanced out the look of the F-Body calipers. Again, I think it was only one or two people and they did it just for looks, no performance gains.

Hmm never heard of doin that & yeah it does look odd wen u really look at the car & see big front brakes & tiny rears lol

i didn't mean it directly towards you tho man
all montes are like that haha, i hate it on mine, the rear rotors are barely visible! :p
