if your paying a shop i'd say at least 100 to 150 a wheel. It is not that hard to do yourself tho for a lot less

Isn't GM running a deal at dealership where it's $100/axle?

ChiChi is correct - my local dealer is charging $99 per axle. That's for AC Delco Durastop ceramic brake pads. Turning/replacing rotors would be extra. Before leaving the car, I would ask the dealer to quote me a "worst case" scenario - that it needs all new rotors, and see what the cost is. But yea, the $800 price you got sounds steep to me.

I am a mechanic at a Dodge dealership. $800 sounds very high to me. You could buy parts pretty cheap. If you know how to do it I would do it yourself and save money.

As said, too high. Personally, I favor the DIY route. Get the parts, get your knuckles dirty, learn something, be proud.

Heck, for the price they quoted, you could get the pads and rotors, jack stands, a floor jack and a case or two of beer.
