Default best strut/spring setup for 2004 Dale Jr.

Hi guys,

I just got a 2004 Dale Jr. SS with low mileage, but the front struts are pretty rusty. They have to be the original factory ones. What is the best recommendation for a strut/spring unit for this year? The KYB ones for this year say for 16" wheels but this car has 17" wheels. Also on my 2002 SS I used Moog ones and it raised the body 2 to 3 inches over the tires, I want the lower factory stance.
Thanks
Dave

The Moogs had good ride quality but the springs seemed to raise the body 2-3 inches higher than stock. And the 2004 supercharged stock suspension is supposed to be lower than the 2003 so am looking to get new ones with stock height springs for the 17" wheel suspension.

Surprised no feedback on this one. I ordered a pair of Monroe fronts designed for 17" wheels so hopefully it will not raise the front too much.
