Default bad springs

So slowly but surely ive been replacing all my bushing and suspension parts each night after i get off work. Ive come to realize that the springs i have in my 99 z34 have nearly 300k on them and are looking fairly sick. Ive been pricing out springs and my options. i found at w-body store a set of 1.6" lowering springs for $209. Which is cheaper than everything even stock. Im just curious if by trying to save money if in the long run ill be causing too much trouble.

Camber kits?
Shorter dog bones
Tire rub
trying to get over any bump

is it worth the extra $ for eibach? which are fairly obviously a better spring

I have eibach springs in mine (so I've been led to believe) even though my car isnt lowered. I couldn't tell a difference, I drive over railroad trax every day, car bounces like a bitch. Then again my car is a 98, has 180,8K miles on it, been wrecked, and generally NOT been taken care of well AT ALL. I'm willing to bet there's something else busted under there and I've only begun chipping at the tip of the iceburg.

I'm just saying, if you are going to get a cheaper spring, you gotta make sure your struts are good :P
