Default Another tire and wheel question

Hello people, being new here I'm sure this question has been asked a number of times, but I'll ask it anyway. I have a 05 Monte with 225-60-16's. Everyone I see with the same car are running 17's, to 20's, and that's not for me. I am looking for the tallest 60 series, with the 16 ' rims I have,to run on the rear of this car, I'm even willing to change the rim the offset to accomidate the tire I want. Any suggestions ???

I'd call your local tire shop and ask.

I THINK (definitely ask around more) but I think you could run a 235/60/16 if you wanted to.

Just be aware that this will throw off your speedometer a little bit.

Why exactly do you want bigger tires on the back?? Just to give it that look? You cant go pretty big on back cause youd run into rubbing issues with the shocks unless of course you, like you said you were willing to do, change the offset. Really, I dont think its the best idea to do, but thats just me I guess? Good luck though
