Aftermarket rims and suspension

RE: Aftermarket rims and suspension
22's are really big for these cars. i have 19" and i lowered it with eibach pro kit. i rub if i have 2 others in the car. i rolled the wheel well lips to push the wheel skirts (only in the rear) were it is rubbin. now whenever i hit somkind of a bump with others in the car i will rub.
i would almost put a max rim size of 20" on these. otherwise you are going to have one uncomfortable ride. (jsut my thoughts
BTW go vote for monte of the month..... (vote for me)

no offense to yahl but 22's on an ls looks NICE and depending on who you ask they might not like it. If you do decide to, some times you have to do mods to the suspension depending on the offset. So be prepared..... you might get frustrated

22's are as big as you can go without lifting the car, and you WILL get some rubbing. Also, be prepared to start replacing your ball joints, tie rod ends, etc, because of the extra weight of the big wheels. Use ONLY Moog parts in the replacements. They are THE heaviest duty you can get, cuz you just wore out cheap.

Like RocknSS04 say 22s is the biggest you can go without lifting if you dont mind riding rubberbands I had 22s on mines but I live in pothole city chicago and didnt want to have to deal with bending a rim or busting a tire so I went with a 255/30/22 its a little thicker tire but I never had any problems and I drove back and forth to work everyday but I had to lift it.
